I ride on Hardpack, sand, snow and mud and I want to get some new tires. The stock recon tires are
22x10x9. I really don't want to get tires that weigh more than stock.
The tires that I were looking at were::::
GBC Mud Sharks: 21x12x9-4ply

Kenda Bearclaws: 22x12x9-4ply

Wooly Booger: 22x12x9-4ply

Maxxis Sur track: 22x11x9-2ply
Can someone please tell me which one of these tires is the best and why you think they are the best.

Nearly all of the Hondas in the club (around 20 machines) have the Sur Traks on them. MOst of the quads are 4x4's. Everyone says they clean real well, so mud doesn't cake up the tire.

I am ordering some for my Recon, real soon from Rocky mountain ATv.

I have heard very good things about the mud sharks, one club member said he never got stuck on his wolverine with a set. They tend to sling a little mud. Also, do you want to go down to a 21" tire? This might not make a difference but with a 21" tire you will lose about 1/2 inch of ground clearance.

Yeah ya see thats the only thing...
If I want to get the mudsharks I have to get the 21 inchers.

Do you now how these ride.
Are they a rough ride and ripp up the axel like the Blackwaters!!! (This is just what I have heard)

I was also looking at the ITP spider track
What do you think of these?

I looked at going up to a 23" tire on the recon. The only tire I could find was the Titan 489's. This is a standard tire on some Polaris models. After posting a message on the Polaris forum about the Titan tire, all the responses were "get something else".

I have the Blackwaters 26X12X12 Front and rear and I hate them, they just spin all over the place. I have to go though bogs all out. and my bike shackes at top speed, and pulls to the right. My friends forman with 27Inch Vamps ride better than mine. I have two tires that are 1/2inch smaller that the others.
