Default Any problem with +2 a-arms and stock rear axle?

I plan on running +2 long travel arms and keeping stock rear axle for now, is this going to be a problem or is it common? Thanks.

Dont know if it will be a problem, but it sure will look funny all wide in the front and all small in the back! Seriously though, I havent heard anything bad about that setup.

It will be extremely hard to manuever, especially at speed. It likes to throw the rear end out without notice. My cousin has a set of offset front wheels and a stock axle and he likes it. I put a set of +2+1 a arms on before my axle was shipped and it handled like crap in the trails. I counted the days till the durablue x33 arrived.

You could flip the rear wheels for more offset to help balance out the wider front end...

You can get a set of wheele spacers for the back until you can get a new rear axle. I've been running this set-up for 2 years now and have had no problems. With the wheele spacers you increase the chance of breaking an axle, but you have to really do some hard hitting.

Just purchase rear extenders and compare it to stock. Then you will know if you want that wider rear axle.

I know it will look pretty funny have a wide front and skinny back, but money will be a little tight after I drop into the shocks and arms. When I do widen the rear I want it to be permanent not a temporary thing. Are there any decent axles that aren't as expensive as durablue? How well would the billet spacers hold up in mx? I'm hesitant to use spacers because of the rep that they have.

Sand Sport rear spacer will never break. They are totally solid. I raced them in a few MX races and in a couple GNCC races. The axle will be more likely to bend, but I never had that problem from jumping, especially if you have a good rear shock.

Only drawback of the Sand Sport spacers is price. They are over $200 for a set. Then you are starting to get close to the cost of a cheap durablue axle. Tough decision.
