I was just thinking about a harescramble we have around here, that goes in a huge loop around a mountain, and I was wondering how you would refuel, they have refueling stations, but how do they know what to have, like oils, higher octane, more importantly ratios. is there some kind of sticker on your gas tank to let them know?

I am guessing that you would have to have a friend stay at the fueling stop and wait for you to come in. That way, you are getting your gas, in your machine.

when I used to run enduro's on bikes and they had a gas truck, you need to make your gas can stand out from the rest for a quick gas. duck tape a srick to your can with some type of streamer or ribbon on the stick. This way you can find yours in a group of 50 to 100 gas cans.

in GNCC, a section of the course runs beside the pit area...so you usually would try and get there early and grab a good spot (close to the track). Sometimes ive become disoriented with all the four wheelers (200-300) but with experience...it comes much easier now.
