Alright, Which one of those fourwheelers is better made, faster, and just all around better? cause i think i want to get one of those but i just cant decide which one? please help

 

The Suzuki Z400 and the Kawisaki KFX400 are the same machine with different plastic. The frame on the kawi says manufactured by Suzuki. The Honda is old and outdated compared to the z400/kfx400 so my choice is one of those.

As for performance, the z400/kfx basically stomp the 400ex in every category except suspension, and that's just personal opinion.

The z400/kfx400 have softer suspension and bottom out easier, but offer a smoother ride as long as you aren't hitting big jumps or taxing the suspension. With the 400ex having a lil more sporty feel to it with the stiffer suspension and slighty rougher ride, it will take the big jumps alot better, but will also beat you up a little more.

So go z400/kfx400 depending on what kinda deal you can get.

Iam just gonna go w/ a used 400ex

 

the 400ex is better made, and handles better than the Z. when i took a ride on a Z400 i was very dissapointed by the power. i had a perfect comparision cuz i was on a friends 400ex with nothing but a wb pipe. and my otehr friend was on a z400 with the same pipe. other than that they were both stock. they ex felt lighter to me and didn't have the tippy feeling the Z had. ppl try to say the Ex is alot slower than the Z and the Z will smoke it. there lieing. the Z barly accelerates faster. and on top end they feel about hte same. and the EX feels like it has a lil more low end push. the Z has reverse(somthing i could care less about) but if you need it then take that in consideration. you could also geta 400ex way cheaper..

Don't forget about the Artic Cat DVX. Suzuki put the motor and frame on it, but Artic Cat gave it personal styling.


The Artic Cat/Suzuki/Kawi are a superior quad to the EX. But it's up to you what you get.

I have rode hondas my whole life..38 years old, they are the best built ,however, I bought a new Z400 and it smokes everything about my brothers 400ex, he even agrees... keep in mind I ahve not had the pleasure to ride the new honda 450... I do like the reverse on my Z too1
