ok i took my hEADLIGH OFF AND NOW MY QUAD WONT START.I PUT A JUMPER CABLE TO IT FROM MY OTHER QUAD AND DOESNT EVEN DO ANYTHING.I MADE A THING FOR THE IGNITION SO WHENI PLUG THE 2 WIRES TOGETHER IT SUPPOSED TO START(OR TURN KEY ON)AND UNHOOK IT AND TURNS OFF.WHENI PLUG IN DOESNT DO ANYTHING.CAN ANYBODY HELP ME?

 

you did more than take your headlight off

 

300racer I had this problem with mine. First make sure your not in reverse. Also it would start depending weather or not the ignition cables where pulled out all the way. At first i think maybe i cut a wire some how on accident and it was connecting. Just fiddle around with pulling out the ignition cables farther out and closer back in and that should fix it.

 

i messed with the wires still nothing should i try to follow them to the starter to see for any problems?

 

I really dont think its gonna be the wiring, if you just took off the headlight. You may want to see if theres any problems, like something being cut or grounded. The way I fixed mine was taking off the front fendres and moving the ignition around. It could work for you. Or just put the headlight back on and see if that fixes the problem

 

ignition switch is off too. but we made one so if u hook it up it will start and unhook it will not when i hook it up nothing happens

 

it will bump start though i forget to mention that
