Are the wheels in the front more narrow than the ones in the rear? I know they are both 12" wheels, but what about the width?

Storm Dawg, I am pretty sure the wheels are 12" the same as my 2001 250. At least that's what the Arctic Cat website says and I know all of mine are the same.

Stock wheels are always narrower in the front. They are usuallt 8 to 9 inches in the front and 10 to 11 inches in the rear. Narrower tires in the front make it easier to turn. Check out the sidewalls and you will see the tire size just like you would on a car tire.

AC650; the tires are narrower, not the wheels. My 250 has 12 wheels front and rear with 23X8( height X width) tires on front and 24X9's on the rear. At least the part number is the same for front and rear wheels.

Yeah that's what I wanted to know is if the wheels were different sizes or not. I know the tires are. But I didn't know if the wheels were different or not.

Storm Dawg; According to the parts list your wheels are the same part number front and rear. Look here;

http://www.brownsleisureworld.com/Parts/ATV/

They have the parts list for 1996 thru 2004. The only bad part is the prices are in Canadian Dollars.

Bear4570,

Thanks for the correction. I misunderstood the question.
