Does anyone know about what the top speed of a 650 quest is. I live on a farm and am looking for a quad with some speed to travel the grid roads to check crops. What would be a good crusing speed on this quad? How would is compare to the outlander 400 ho?

 

The Quest 650 hits the rev limiter at about 74mph on it's speedometer with a 150lb rider (they tell me that they have to keep them under 75mph due to some govt regulation). The Outlander 400 will break 60mph on the speedo.

There is no way a Wuest can hit 74. A prairie hits around 70 at its tops and it the fastest.

 

Actually a quest is faster than a prairie. Doesnt accel as fast, but it does have a higher topend. As for 74, I'm not sure about it, but its possible. Prairie isnt the fastest, I think its the quickest. Hope this helps. Great machine though, my dad has a 500.

 

if you bypass the rev limiter the quest will hit 82mph with a 250 lb on board. but it sure souds like its coming apart . i recomend not exceeding 78mph keeps the rpm's a bit safer.
