Default DS 650 Drain Plug Size and Thread Pitch

Yeah Jr Erbe was helping to change oil and forgot about Lefty Loosy and Righty Tighty, so dose any one know the thread Pitch?? Im sure its a 16mm size

Default DS 650 Drain Plug Size and Thread Pitch

Are you tapping it out or putting in a helicoil? The plug is steel, the case is aluminum, plug should still be good. Don't know why CanAm can't steel sleeve the drain hole and then use an aluminum plug. Be a whole lot cheaper on us if they'd do that!
I find the next size up plug and tap the hole to fit. Be careful the the screen right above the hole if you choose that route.

Default Drain Plug

Tried break bars and everything, but nothing worked til I took a torch to it for a few minutes and it came out like butter.
