piston help?

ok im trying to get my cylinder out and have never messed with anything internal, ok will somebody tell me how to take a stock piston out of a stock head, do i need a special tool to get it out, and is it difficult? i will be sending it 2 hollywood dirt productions to be ported could i get some info ASAP! thx everyone!

when taking the jug off...u take the carb, and exhaust off. then take the 4 nuts that hold the jug to the case, carefully slide the jug off of the piston. easy if you take the fuel tank off. the piston will stay attached to the rod and crank. If you are getting it bored over, there are c clips on each side of the piston wrist pin, take these of with a small pair of needle nose, and be sure not to drop anything into the case, cover it with some clean rags or so. Slide the wrist pin out of the side you took the c clip off and the piston will come off the rod. Very easy, after youve done it once. Its simple after that.

The only thing you have to make sure of is that you get the piston put back in with the arrow pointing forwards. and that the two holes on the skirt of the piston is facing back. that is the intake side of the piston. Yes sometimes the wristpin is alittle tight in there. Tapping it out is ok, just as long as you tap it lightly. it should budge...
