just wondering if anyone has seen or heard anything negative about the trannys on the Rincons?

premature wearing, noises, leakages, water intrusion, slippage, etc., etc.?

I'm thinking of getting a new Rincon and putting some 27's on the stock rims, if they will fit... and wondering how that transmission will hold up

I have a 2003 Rincon, it has over 3000 miles and I have not had any real problems with it other then it doesn't like to start when it's cold (10 degrees and colder) and it needs to warm up good before tranny works normal. I use ESP mode most of time. I don't like the rev limiter. I like the water &mud so i won't buy a belt driven machine I seen them all slip in those conditions. I would post some spring thaw pics. if i knew how, DEEP water Tranny works very well.

never has been taken in because of a problem

P.S My buddys' Rincon has 3000+ on it also

yes, I too have seen every make and model with a belt driven tranny get wet one time or another....

so it's either a manual with an auto clutch 4x4 or a Rincon for me... luckily, I love Honda
