Tear-Offs or Roll-Offs...Which do you prefer?
#1
I have some ProGrips with tear offs but was thinking of going to some O'Neal HiVoltage goggles....
I like the tear off's cause it's pretty cheap but I can't stand the "rattle" on the side of my helmet from the pull tab, so I tuck it back under on the lens post....this makes it kind of a pain to have more than 2 tear offs.
Anyone have any advice or input?

Roll-offs suck if water gets under the film. I used them last year but have switched back to tear-offs after the roll-off film got stuck to the lens one too many times. If the roll-off film sticks to the lens and you pull the string too hard, the string breaks and you have to buy replacement parts. I even tried using the mud guards on top and bottom of the roll-off film but couldn't keep water from getting under the film every once in a while.

I use tear off and they are still a pain in my ****. Water still gets under them but i guess they are better than having regular goggles if your racing... I just dont concentrate on my goggles when im in the middle of a heated race. I imagine for a MX race pull tab would be better and faster. but your not getting 100% cleanness.
