can any one tell me how to replace my stock clutch lever on my 300ex with the PEP lever. is there a certain way you have to rewire the stock one?

well just pull yours off and put the cable in the pep one. what do you mean by rewire? I would do this but I don't wanna lose my reverse. are you talking about just the lever or the lever and perch?

Hondatrx300ex...

You said you would do this but you didn't want to loose your Reverse. Why would you loose that !! Isn't the easypull clutch lever just mounted differently so there is more leverage to pull on, this makes it a easier pulling motion. I don't believe you loose reverse..

Correct me if I am wrong. I do not have this part..

well I don't think the pep lever will fit the 300ex perch. the pep easypull comes with the perch.therefore if you take your perch and put on the pep you will lose the little red button you use to put it in reverse.I may be wrong but I haven't seen a pep lever that will fit the stock perch. later

Just connect the two wires. the two wires that you are mentioning, I believe, are just a safty thing so that you have to have the quad in neutral and the clutch disengaged to start it. after the modification you can start in any gear with the clutch pulled in.
