Is the DS the BOMB?
#1
Hello,
I currently have a Warrior for my riding purposes and was wondering how a DS would compare to my Warrior in all aspects of riding and I ride mostly wide open terrain and lots of jumping. I have heard that DS's aren't good at wheelying?? also the width and size (well it weight does weigh too much) doesn't bother me because I'm a big guy, If I did get one I would like to get a turbo thing that you guys are talking about because that is the main problem with my warrior is that is seems gutless anymore, or do you think I should wait till the new Yamy comes out, I kind of feel that this quad is being over rated for what it is?? Oh what color are the 2001 going to be?? But I defianetly don't want a 400ex or some other less powerful quad that everyone raves about so please don't reccomend one of those.
Thanks BUB

A 400ex will burn your warriors ***** off and are good jumpers. If you need more get a banshee. Dang there fast but are not as good at jumping did i metion there fast? The raptor seems about perfect for your riding conditions. It doesn't have much low end but for where you ride it will fly. ds650 is what you want if you want something that is bigger. Hope this helps you out.

Low-end ? It has plenty of low end . Just not at 300 Rpm..or whatever that review said...dang...what "does" have power at 300 RPM. Anyways..from there up... gobs of torque and power..clear through 9000 rpm. Wait for ATVAction mag shootout..youll see quite an impressive review from those Honda lovers....even if they cant stand reporting it..haha. What else can they do..its an amazing new quad. Later.
