thanks for the help, my dad told me just to use appoxy too, so i should just listen to you hozed and my dad since u both said appoxy.

JB Weld will stick to and hold practically anything as long as the surface is clean and prepared correctly. 5 minute epoxy might be a little less viscous and probably easier to work with for your specific repair and usually being clear, might look a little better when it's all finished.

Funny story about JB weld.... I am a diesel mechanic......had a truck in a couple weeks ago (real piece of crap)......it had coolant leaking out a hole in the block (about 1/4" diam) and it had a series of 4 holes rusted through on the back of the rear diff. By the owners request we had to wire brush it all and we JB welded them all closed.......THEY ALL HELD!!!!! The cooland system on this truck is 10#'s and that stuff still held..........JUST remember this when you are driving next to a tractor/trailer on the interstate![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
