Is the carbon plastic for the Predator still available?

Carbo plastic
My dealer said that the part numbers show there no longer available. Is this true? Why would they stop making them?

I hope it's not a brittle as the V's limited plastic is. But I would buy it if I can get it. $600 is the same price as Fullbore plastic, but the fullbore doesn't hide the all the electrical parts like the stock plastic does.

I am a Polaris dealer and the carbon fiber plastic for the Predator has been discontinued, due to manufacturing problems (quality issues). You may find someone who has it in stock, but I doubt it. I would also only buy it at a highly discounted price, since it has been discontinued because of quality issues.

My dealer called Polaris, and they said they still plan on selling the Carbon plastic, but are in the works of taking care of some quality issues like you said. They told my dealer they might have something by next week.

I hope you are right. I would be suprised if this is true, because they didn't have it listed in the 2005 order form. Usually if it will only be a short delay the item is put on back order, not completely pulled from the system. Once again, I hope you are right, because that CF plastic is way cool.
