My Xplorer throttle is sticking. Any ideas

probably getting rusty in there,do you ever lube it?if not id buy a can of cable lube and spray it down the cable..

its still on warrenty so Iam having my dealer do put a new one on. Thanx

I think there was a recall on the xplorer, it had something to do with sticking throttle's CONTACT YOUR DEALER.

I believe there was a some type of bulletin or something like that about 3 yrs ago, Polaris probably tried to contact all the owners, if you bought yours used or if you weren't registered through polaris you may have not got notified. Your dealer should have this information if there was a bulletin, if so should be a free fix. If he's not sure have him contact the manufacturer

Well I sprayed more WD 40 in it and it works great, but it was stuck 2 days ago while i was pullen into my garage and i slamed into the back of my MXZ [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

Thanx for replying and they said they have never had the problem with them , they even seemed pissed at me for asking. So I said would you rather fix it or get suied by my family for having it stick ( they new it was sticking) and me riding it and me get killed or would you like to fix it. They shut right up. I bought it from this place

Default Need Help ASAP

Take the cover off the oil pump leaver and clean and spray (I use BelRay 6in1 oil) butWD40 will work.THis is where they ussually stick at.
