i HIGHLY suggest the Pro-Armor Swingarm skid. It is the thickest out there (that i am aware of)

Very nice fit and finish. I am usually cheap when it comes to that kind of thing...but read about everyone having problems with a few brands (ac and armadillo i beleive) it was 100...but is 1/4 inch thick and definately takes a beating and keeps on ticking!

i also have the pro armor and highly recomend it, i'd suggest spending the lil extra, my buddy bought the 1/4" AC for his EX and it is just a standard skid wit another layer welded on, doesn't really look that nice, i think mine would hold up better

I have a PRM, which the holes didn't line up very well, but with some modification has worked fine. I do a lot of rock bashing where I live.

I just bought A-arm guards, a full length skid (for the engine), and a swingarm skid from Utah Sport Cycle (Ricochet ATV Products) for $215. They are from their Bullet Line for high performance ATV's, and they are 6061 1/4". You can go to www.utahsportcycle.com if you are interested. I have not yet put them on, but they look like they are made very well.

I have the Pro Armor, excellent fit and finish and easy to install. I wouldn't pinch pennies when it comes to skid plates, price out a chain and brake rotor and you'd be well over $200, just my $.02

just received my AC full skid and swingarm plates. full skidplate not too bad.....but the swingarm plate is terrible. cheaply made (thin, weak) not engineered right (hit brake rotor right out of the box) and not practical ( the brake and sprocket guards and bent down just asking to be bent up into the things they're supposed to protect!!) anyway my two cents, good luck!!
