If you don't have a spring tool, a full-size set of Vise-grips works well. Rick puts together a great bang for the buck kit.

you'll be happy with the kit. did you get the HPD pipe or one of ricks? i really like the sound actually sounds like a 2 stroke now. my friends think its too loud but one just ordered a rcr kit for his 400 scrambler. i havent put the so called ''air box mod'' on yet but it runs great. i have a k&n on it right now. with the ''air box mod'' its just an extended twin air filter and you have to take the back of the air box off for it to fit but where i live you never know if its gonna be too wet or too dusty so im most likely not going to be putting it on. give us your thoughts and ill see how they compare with mine.

i got the mid to top pipe with the dalton black spring with the orange stripe. he told me to run the 155 main but i may drop to the 140 he sent with it. my air box mod was removing to duct work from the inside of the airbox lid. never heard about any cuttin of the lid. i like it alot. alot more power. im still learning the power band so i can wheelie but it goes up hills much better. im gonna take it to the badlands tomorrow. i cant wait. i love the sound. its sweet. great job rick. the silencer was a tight fit so i had to tap it on with a rubber mallet. the install took like a total of an hour and a half maybe 2. what spring did u guys get. i think i wanna try the orange. i want a little higher engagment. or i might just go get a polaris silver from the dealer. i dunno. i might just leave it. scott

I just took a big ole screwdriver and cut a notch in the side to pull springs with, and it works pretty good.

Anyway, do tell how the whole she-bang works once you change springs!!! Thanks!!
