I just installed the full skid plate for the Rancher 4+4. It bolted right up and fits snug, no rattles. I went to a mud hole that gives me some trouble from time to time and drove right thru it, 5 times! You could see were the machine slid on the plate in the mud. On the machine it felt like it swam over it, slow and deliberate! The plate had 2 holes cut, one for changing oil and on for the front differential to change it's fluid. This is not the easiest to mount the plate alone but with a floor jack it took me about an hour, nobody said I was a mechanical genious! The plate is made of 6061 hardned aluminum and is 3/16ths thick, all the hardware is supplied but no instructions. The form and fit of the product was very good as in the side edges of the plate were bent up so they would not hang up. The price was $99.00 plus shipping, I am very pleased with my Rancher and we are ready for the rocks and stumps while hunting this fall!!!! The plate was at PRM-ATV.com 541-857-2812

Ditto Buckfever. I love the PRM's I have on my 450ES.Great product.I feel a lot more confident going over large sharp edged rocks and broken branch infested logs. Mine are used and abused but you'd never know it by looking at them.

2000 450ES Red.

Thanks guys for the advice. I'll need some decent skid plates for my quad. I just am not sure which would give me the best bang for the buck.

Hey, by the way, which branch of management do you work for in PRM? Just curious, you may get a promo from this post

I have a 2000 400EX too and bought PRM's swing arm skid plate, its the best investment I've made to my quad.
