yeah heres what it does the keys off so obviously nothings working but i turn the key on and either it wont be on or it will but it seems dim then i start it it either turns off for a fraction of a second then turns back on or just stays on.. then if i barely rev it it flickers doesnt seem to affect performance and the light comes on and stays solid when its in reverse but im just worried about it. i dont like Red lights. thanks

I would try grounding the wire going to the reverse switch, if the light goes out the switch is bad.
If it doesn't go out I would try grounding the same wire where it comes out of the CDI unit. If it goes goes out then you have a bad wire going to the switch.
If it doesn't go out it may be the wire between the bulb and the CDI is rubbing and grounding if not the CDI unit may be the problem and would have it checked or take it to the dealer.
