Oh, what to do with TBlazer 250 gearing....
#1
I posted not to long ago about a screwy chain being too tight in one spot and too loose in another and someone suggested the rear sprocket could be bent. So I'm gonna get a new rear sprocket and see what happens.....
How many teeth should I go down in the rear for a tad more top-end speed? I'm a slim 250-ish #s and so far the quad is bone-stock, and I don't wanna lose too much off the bottom. If I can't ditch the 250 and get a 03 400 I'll end-up with RCR's stage 1, prolly with the HPD top-end pipe (+8!!). Would losing 2 teeth be too tramatic for the lil' piggie? Or should I go up 1 in front and down 4 in back for a 1.5 tooth diff? (1 in front is like 2.5 in back, right? What was I talkin' about again?) Thanks for any help!!
P.S. If the last part makes no sense, I'm tired and ready for bed. If I got it right, well, I be educated
