Default tblazer 250 vs. tblazer250

Do yo9u think i will be able to beat my friends tblazer? My tblazer 250 is ported and has a aaen top end pipe. Friends tblazer 250 has a hsp pipe, cluthc kit, and filter.

Also, how much difference would there be if you were to drag a tblazer 250 with a clutch kit, pipe, ported, and 38mm carb vs. a stock scrambler/trailblazer400.

Ya I'm just wondering because supposively the second modded trailblazer 250 has equal hp with the 400 plus a clutch kit.

Without the clutch kit he will win. The AAEN pipe is a great pipe but without clutching to match you are missing the powerband of the pipe. The HSP runs pretty strong from bottom to top.

As for the 400 you will lose. The 400 has reeds and more agressive clutching. It will get you off the line and just keep pulling. When I had my HPD pipe, agressive clutch kit, porting, lightened flywheel and 34mm carb it would get me off the line but i could catch up and hang right alon side it. I then went with the AAEN top end pipe, AAEN rollar clutch kit, porting, lightened flywheel, milled head, and 35mm pwk carb it would smoke the 400.

None of the Trailblazer mods that you have mentioned will even come close to a 400. And the HSP trailblazer is only running around 30hp while the 400 is 39hp.

Oh and good luck trying to tune the 38mm to the 250.

On aaenperformance.com it shows the power charts for each wheeler and the 400 stock had 38 hp while the second modded tb i listed has 38 hp. Maybe they're lieing. I just thought it was sort of interesting how a trailblazer 250 could have so much power.
