I work at a small bike shop in central mo. Ive been working on a 00 bigbear 400. It came in with no spark.
Stuck a cdi on it. rode it around the block and sent it home. It came back that afternoon with an entirely different prob. It fires and idles fine. revs out the first time fine. when you crack the throttle the second time it breaks up at low rpm like it hits a rev. limiter. I know its a firing prob. because you can see it breaking up with a timing light. Ive tried everything.replaced pickup coils,coil,plug wire, plug,even another new cdi. bypassed all lights and sensors trying to isolate the ign. system no luck. any help would be welcome.
