I have an 03 auto 400I and it has a reverse override switch. I have not rode it enough to know if the reverse is bad on the auto compaired to the mannual? Anyone one know if the auto has a lowe geared reverse? Thanks!

 

My dad has the 400 auto. i have the 300 manual. Not sure if this helps you or not, but his reverse seems a lot lower than mine. In fact, that is one of my gripes about this machine I have....the reverse gear is WAY too high. Makes me feel like I'm going to toast the clutch everytime I try to back out of a mud hole. I'd say the auto. has an advantage with it's reverse gear.
