lt250 air leakage

Default lt250 air leakage

hi all nice to join now comes a question my buddy bought a 90 quadracer and the engine was reving out to max on start up air leak obviosly so i sprayed carb cleaner around boot no difference ofcourse the motor is completely redone by who knows who but had broken bolts so not any mechanic i know woulda left the broken bolt in so i said woneder if leaking on flywheel side since not sucking any oil and pulled cover the seal brand new was sitting on the crankshaft lol i then seated it back in do you think it will stay and ws never properly seated or could there be some kind of back pressure? please gimmie your ideas

Default lt250 air leakage

theres always presure and sucktion in a 2 stroke case. Probably poorly seated.
