My dealer has three 03 holdovers. 2 baja's and 1 viper.... what do you think would be a fair price for these??
You won't believe the numbers that they are quoting me....

I gave $5500 for my 03 Baja back in November. What numbers are they quoting you?

Here are the prices that they quoted me, I don't think this is OTD either...

03 Baja 6569

04 Baja 6811

04 Baja X 6811 + 700 = 7511....

I got real lucky on mine, 04 BajaX with Ron Woods stageII kit for $4600. It was only four months old and the guy traded it in on a 93 Banshee because he couldn't ride a wheelie on it. The owner of the cycle shop is a buddy of mine, and when he told me the price I figured there had to be something wrong with it. I just got back from Waynoka last night, and there is absolutly nothing wrong with this machine. It is the only DS I have ridden so I don't have anything to compare it to except all the raptors and banshees I was smoking on the dragstrip. No, I couldn't beat all of them, but I was very impressed with the power and suspension on this thing. Oh by the way, I had no problem riding wheelies. I do wish I had bought the Scat-Trak paddles instead of the Sandstars. I met a guy with a new DS with only the stage one kit with the strait paddle haulers, and he got three bike lengths off the line every time we raced. I could pull to within one bike length by the end of the strip, but that was it. He also told me he didn't run that well before he started using the Scat-Trak's.

Keep in mind, most dealers will not quote you real numbers unless you are there with cash in hand trying to make a deal.
