i heard rumors at the lunch table at school that suzuki was gonna make a z450 and it was gonna compete with the yfz and r.? any one else hear about thing?

 

ya i heard that it was gunna come out in spring or summer of 05 and as soon as it does then at the dealer and slapin down the 7g's

 

If Suzuki were smart they would include reverse and electric start on the new 450.

 

noone is 100% sure suzuki is even making a z450. its just a rumor, they havent officaily accounced anything. and the Z400's right now are still tight in the MX comp. stock bore or even with a wiseco 440 or yoshi 450, they can compete with the yfz's and 250r's on the tracks

 

If they do, I will be sure to buy one, If the 400 is any sign of how they will build the 450 it's gonna be great. They have all the info they need out there on the market right now to know what it will take to build a competitor. I think they should just take thier time and build the right bike.

 

You can count on it being more than a rumor. They are in prototype stage now, but I'm sure there will be a 450. It's too big a market with everyone wanting to have a 450 now. I really don't see them bringing it out in 2005. They will most likely wait on these to work the bugs out unlike the BS with the junk frames on the first z400's.
