Default Where to get a manual (book, not trans!)

Any place good to go for a shop manual? I see that Alpha sports has the CD on my model for like $40. I figured I would ask before I just ran out and ordered it.

Thanks,

Brent

I have seen them come up from time to time. The last one went for like $60 but it was for all of the 01's. I decided to pass as I only need the "400" model which I could get $20 cheeper from Alpha.

I needed an 03 service manual for my 400 and TRV. It cost too much $ to purchase separate ones so I went for the "all in one". Problem was I could only find it on a CD. I don't know about you but I find it a little hard to go back and forth between the computer and the shop.

So I went for the 04 "all in one" service manual which I was able to get in a paperback version for $45 including shipping.

I was able to do this because there were no "major" changes between the 03 and 04 models.

Also, I am not sure about the others who own this manual but I find the way it is indexed makes it difficult to look things up. So as manuals go I have seen better.

I bought mine from the dealer. It's an actual AC shop repair manual. The same as there techs use. cost me $34 and came with the CD also. The CD is neat because it has all the part numbers and the exploded views.
Wook.

I work on PC's for a living so the CD ROM is not a big deal. I actually have a PC in the garage, I use it for diags on a car. I will admit, however, that a paper manual would be nice. You know, I never thought of just calling my dealer to see what they had. I will give them a shot tomorrow.
