well is u figuar if i say im selling an 02 raptor for 3000 and the guys sends me the money and i dont send him the bike, now you got 3000 dollars b/c of some idiot sending money over sea's or w/e


my sister and brother in law got a scam im 13 and im takeing this all in, ok this is what happened they had a boat for sale and stuff some guy over sea's said that i will take the boat for 8500 plus 3000 to ship it well they got the money in there hand and next thing u know they go spend 4000 dollars in one day now the other day she looks in here checking and now there 4000 in the hole cuz some a$$, ppl like that should die

and i told my brother in law that they will send u a check u will get the money and 2 weeks later u will be in the hole and excatly what i said happened now since they though a 13 year old didnt know what he was talking about now since they didnt listen to me now there not gonna make it cuz there 4000 dollars in debt along with 20000 dollars in debt with stocks

Its kind of a grey area. Its wrong to scam people, but if you really think you can get brand new atv's from overseas shipped to your door for half the msrp, then you arent really trying very hard to be an educated consumer. You know what they say, a fool and his money are soon parted.

 

Thats what i was thinking....All these people talking about buying and selling bikes and quads overseas...or through third parties...etc.

Man...I just don't get it...scares the heck out of me....I have enough trouble trusting the local dealer, not to mention some smuck from 2000 miles away.

I ditto the quote from above.....anyone who gets burned on a transaction like that is asking for it. Very missinformed consumer. I'm almost ready to put the banshee on ebay for double the money its worth...I keep the money and the quad....cause you know someone will bid on it.
