686 head work
#1
well they cant get the hole to close up because of the angle required to apply correct heat and bead, so now I dropped it off with the cnc machine guys down the hall and told them to open up the water jacket from the bottom of the head so that the tig torch can reach in from that side and weld the hole from the back. This is becoming a mission to make this head work, at least it's my company and the guys are doing all this welding and CNC work for free!! So maybe today Pat, depends on if the CNC gets freed up soon enough so the weld shop will still have time to refill the crack and the hole left after the CNC, you are gonna your work cut out for you.
