I haven't posted on here in a while and Id like to round up a trip to Silver Lake 3 weekends from now (weekend of June 5th). I got a little place with some old ghetto trailers in Manistee (close to silver lake) that a few people could stay in if interested. Its all propane powered, so beware. Anyways, I'm finally rebuilding my damn Banshee (again) due to stupid break-in mistakes. I worked a little and scraped up my pennies to pay for this. I hopefully am getting a few friends to come up for a good 2 or so days of duning. If anyones interested, get at me! Like I said, I got a little place to stay at! It also has some trails around there for a ride at night or something. Although ATVs are banned in Manistee, the place I got is right on the county line road, so cross the road and you can ride all you want.

Someone please come! Im selling my quad after this trip, so its a "farewell-to-the-shee" trip...

You are making a big mistake selling the shee. If you do sell it, you will probably find yourself on one again in the future. Sell the honda before you sell the shee.

 

I know I will buy another one in the future. But having a low paying job and needing a car, I gotta get rid of it. Its been SUCH a money pit! Its almost crazy.

i am going up that weekend i think. but pretty sure we already have a place to stay but thanks for the invite .btw keep the shee.

 

yes now that ur shee is running you need to keep it wether you need a car or not. You will end up not getting what you want for it and if you do get rid of it itll be hard for you to find another that you want at the right price. Just scrape those pennies for a car now.

 

I wish I could go but alas.... I will be in vegas that weekend losing all my money!

I am going the weekend before you, at the end of May. I am racing in the drags at West Michigan Sand Dragway. I got a new 11:1 686 engine and some ultralite (triple buff) 22" Extreme haulers and an extended swingarm. Wanna race now?

Anyway, I will be there all week June 18-22nd, maybe till the 25th, on vacation. If you can make it up then you guys can camp at my spot in Silver Lake state park. I already got a reservation.
