Probably just a rumor but i heard that the are ready to launch a new 450 race quad?! Anybody else heard the same thing?

 

its most likely suzuki's 450 that they got,kind of like the z400 and kfx400.

 

Despite the alliance between Kawasaki and Suzuki, both companies have agreed that the new "race-ready" 450 four-strokes will be their own creations, independent of one another. Kawasaki is indeed working on their own right now, as is Suzuki, but Suzuki's is expected to release before the Kawasaki.

 

I think the alliance is basically over with now...Artic cat is coming out with there own single cylinder 650 and then the "brute force" coming out I am assuming this year....so I am guessing that the copy cats will be limited from now on

 

Do you really think they'll call it quits on the cooperation? I know Kawasaki is going to be manufactering Suzuki's new 450 thumper motocross bike, just as they did with the 250.

 

I never said they would call it quits...but by the looks of it their atv market is going to be their own...not someone else's.

 

I don't think there all going solo,i still think theres going to be more sharing,but we'll just see.

 

I agree with Clover...I think there will be more sharing in the future between Suz. and Kaw. For example, they just announced that Suz. will soon market/sell its version of the Kaw. Mule 3010. I think this announcement shows that the Alliance is still going strong. Of course, no one really knows what Kaw. and Suz. are really planning except themselves.

When are they releasing the new 450 motor for the dirt bikes, usaully they releas the dirt bike and then put the engine into a quad. But i would like to know when or how much longer do i have to wait. I have a kfx-400 that hasnt been beat by a 400 but thats besides the point.
