Default Wheel Spacers

I have a 2003 Kodiak, I am interested in puting wheel spacers on it, to give it a wider look. If anyone has any comments regarding spacers please let me know.

I have the High Lifter 1" spacers on with stock wheels and have no problems with them, it was a worth while modification.

Moose makes 1" spacers for utes. That isn't so wide, that it is going to stress your suspension. Another alternative, is wider aftermarket tires and rims.

Default Wheel Spacers

Wheel spacers and offset wheels have a few traits that are unavoidable. Some good, some bad.

Good...Your quad will be more stable in the turns and off camber sections
Good...Your quad will look even meaner
Good...Since you will likely be wider than others in your group, your tires can grab sides of ruts for traction to get you through easier.
Bad.....Since you will likely be wider than others in your group, your tires can grab sides of ruts for traction making for squirelly handling.
Bad.....Wheel spacers and offset wheels DO put a greater load on your wheel bearings and will wear quicker
Bad.....Wheel spacers and offset wheels DO make for heavier steering and more excess "bump steer" than running stock wheels.

So,.............. 3 for 3.

You decide.
