i just took cover off belt and i played with it...theres about 2 inches of play..there supposed to be tight?? rofl (time for a new belt?)

 

yeh i'd say so you will problay notice a big difference to

 

i ran mine always 1/8+ over the top,my local polaris told it was not enough that i have too belt deflection,if you go higher the lower top speed the clutch will achieve.

 

thats pretty much normal,you need to take a straight edge and rest it along the belt,between the clutches..make sure the belt is at the highest point in the driven clutch,then put some tension on the belt and measure from the center of the belt to the straight edge.

 

right on 420, mine has to measure an inch and one eigth

haha ur right i did cut back on the wendys [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] but im 18 and weigh only like 140....but ok i took the black covers that mount on the fenders and foot boards, sprocket guard bottom skid plate, air box, heat sheild bottom sheild on right by back brake, when new pipe comes in im sure that will be lighter. soon ima take battery and starter off lights, itp rims,new sprockets swing arm.

 

o yeh and the oil injection cus thats just useless.
