which pipe will give the most performance? i have heard a lot of good things about both these pipes. if anybody has any other ideas please let me know. sound is not a big concern. this is going on a 400ex. the bike will stay mostly stock besides the pipe, jet, and k&n filter. Thanks for the help!!

Gt thunder has dyno runs on both. The pro meg is better pipe overall, and this is with discs installed. The dmc is very close in peak power, slightly better mid torque due to equal length headers but this is with open end (no discs),add discs and power is down.If you ride where you need a spark arrestor then the pro meg is much better if not then either one will be good choice, pro meg is still cheaper.

Pro-meg owner here....hang on to your handle bars!
GT Thunder is an awesome site. That's how I made my choice.

thanks for the help!! what is gt thunder's site. Also, does adding discs to the e-series increase noise and taking out discs decrease noise or is it the other way around.

GT Thunder

12 discs are stock outta the box.
more equals more noise and more top end.
less equals less noise and more low end.
