Dead Batteries?
#1
My buds DS650 had its battery get so week after 3 weeks of sitting, it wouldnt turn the motor over.
We charged it for a overnight, and was fine for the ride.
Now I left my Outie sitting for exactly 22 days, and same thing, battery was week, anfd the starter wouldnt stay engaged.
Thankfully I have that recoil start, the ds650 doesnt.
So other than running it weekly, what do you guys do with your batteries to keep them up?

invest in a battery tender. its about 30 bucks. best 30 i ever spent. i had a problem with my battery after about 1 month of owning the machine. i only ride on sundays so it sits for the whole week. someone suggested for me to invest in a battery tender. all it is is a little charger that you plug into the wall and then to the battery. it will keep the battery charged. if the battery drops low the tender will bring it back to fully charged and then keep it that way.
