I really dont have a problem with it but , it works fine but when i shut off the motor something makes sort of a winding down sound followed buy a thud then it stops. I have had my friend tell me it was the electric starter but i'm not sure. If it is not i would really like to know. Buy the way the atv is a trx200sx this is the only problem i have had with it besides the chain and sprockets. PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!

I seriously doubt that you are having problems with your starter, based on the symptoms you describe. I would guess that the cause is due to clutch wear (the centrifugal clutch, not the change clutch). Another symptom associated with clutch wear is a "freewheeling" effect that sometimes occurs while using engine braking to slow one's descent of steep hills. If you wish to pursue this further, I'd suggest consulting a service manual - me, I'd just ride it for now.
