curtis sparks x-6

Default curtis sparks x-6

will the curtis sparks x-6 work well on a pretty much stock motor, my only modification is a K&N air filter.

with jetting it will do just fine. the more you mod the bike, the better it will open up.

if i donr plan on doing any big bores or major stuff like that would it be better to get the x-4?

if you don't plan on going internal, i would get the x-4. my friend actually has an x-4 and he has a hotcam and a 406 piston. that pipe still works great with his setup.

How loud is the X-4 or X-6 compared to other exhaust companies? I plan on ordering the X-6 for my 400ex in the next month or so. I am going to get the spark arrestor with it also.

the sparks pipes are pretty loud. they are louder than most but i think the ct is louder.
