I was making a few runs at the River today and as I was making the first run I noticed something strange. As I would speed shift my motor it would how do I explain this. It would act as if I was letting off the gas. It would only do it when I pulled the clutch like I was letting off the gas. Like the clutch was interupting the fire. The only thing different from my last ride was that I took my fan off. It seemed like it had something to do with the fire. Ive got a RWR cdi.Could it be that or maybe the plug that lets you crank it in gear with the clutch in? I dont know and Ive been thinking about it all the way home. Anybody ever had this happen.

I don't know how this could happen, but it sounds like the engine start in gear feature (which requires the clutch to be pulled in) has gone inverse. But I seriously doubt this could happen unless some serious rewiring took place.

I was thinking the same thing, but I can see how it could possibly happen.

My advise would be to double check all connections, and try her again.

I'd double check any grounds on and around were you were working. Also, a bullet connector under the dash could be a tad loose.
