do i need to buy a special wrench to adjust predator 500 front shocks?

from factory my7 front shocks were set quite compressed and stiff, i want to soften them up a bit but dont have any wrench to turn the lock nuts.
please help.....thanks

You can use a brass punch and a hammer to adjust the shocks. By using a brass punch you won't damage the lock rings and it is much cheaper than buying a shock wrench.

If you keep the threads clean and hit them with contact cleaner after your rides the only one you should need a punch for is the top lock nut. You "should" be able to turn the lower and upper lock rings by hand once you've removed the intial torque.
