The Holeshots really need to be on a 9" wide rim, to take advantage of the tire width. On an 8" rim, the tire has a rounded profile, rather than a flat one (better traction!). Last I checked, Douglas rims do not come in 9" widths, so I run ITP 9X9" on all my bikes. Get the Baja's if you really need lip strength.

what is the width of the stock rims? some kid ran into me down at the trails yesterday so i had to buy new tie rods so i don't have the money for the package deal. or i'll just save up again. if i ordered the pacakage deal would rockeymountain give me the option of choosing the 9x9 rim? The holshot's i want are the xcr's. they are lower profile than the standard and are six ply. anybody have any comments on these tires. thanx
