Does anyone have a 686 kit, that rides mx? I read the kenz 686 post, and saw his 686 is a wheelie animal, and I dont want to try back flips! lol

So, would you reccomend a 686 kit, for mx, or is it like playing with gas, and fire, not expecting to ever get burned?

if u get a bit of an extended swing arm and some suspension mods and widened it.. it would be a monster on the track once u got used to it and could contain it yeah if u dump the clutch it will wheelie thats where being a good rider comes in handy.. u use the clutch and what not..

Of course it could work well on a track! Just need to modify the Rappy to where it handles the power and MX track well. It'll cost more money but I bet you'd scream by the compitition!

I don't drag mine much, I mostly ride trails and it handles them great! I've got it more setup to ride everywhere rather than in a straight line.

Well, I think I am getting some elka triple rate, with rezzies, or whatever the top line is, while I go to camp(July 6th-14th), so I think it should handle pretty good. I think I am just going to try to mod everything else, and if power is an issue, still.....I will get a 686 kit.

Since my dad is a wrencher, and knows how to port and polish, would it be bad to do that, to a stock raptor?

It is ok if no one knows that one, because I can just ask him tomorrow!

If you do a port and polish it'll be a b*tch to jet! I'd wait until you do all your other mods to do the port and polish.
