I'm looking at automatic 4x4 quads in the 400 to 500cc class and am wondering if certain models are louder than others. Everyone has features they desire in a quad. I want to sneak through the woods like a cat. I will also put on an aftermarket muffler silencer, but want to make sure I start out with the quietest quad possible first.

 

I believe all you new 4 stroke quads are very simular, Honda are usually know for how quiet they are.

The Honda Rincon is very quiet. The SP 400 is also pretty smooth and quiet as well.

Anything that sits next to the barn broken down should be considered quiet, lol.

 

My 700 i alot quieter then my neighbors Rincons i dont think that the RINCONS are to quiet.
And any sportsmen will beat a honda even if it is broke down next to the barn

 

i agree with you. honda messed up the rincon it's got no power,no engien brake,if it dose it's bad,only good thing is the brakes as in drum. and a sp will out pull out run any ut quad around and it will win in a drag race even if it dont have a engien in it... i cant stand rice burners................

 

I think that hondas make good dirt bikes but not good ATVS. I raced a Rincon and beat him this guy was like look at that Polaris mine can take it so we raced and i smoked him.
