Is Honda not making the Recon in 2005? I can't find it on theor website with all the other 2005's.

 

If you notice, there is no 05 listing for the 400EX either. Honda recently announced that the 05 400EX will meet the new 06 emissions guidlines, a year early. Notice also, that there is no 05 listing for the Foreman 450 either. I think what is happening, is that they will be announcing that these other bikes also meet the 06 regulations. No doubt there will be some changes to the motor specs, and they probably don't know ahead of time what they are, so they aren't announcing the 05's just yet. Bigger carbs seem to be the order of the day (also see the 05 Suzuki Z400)!

So, you might want to get an 04 now, if you are in the market for a Recon!
