Has anyone found front tires that make it easier to steer? I have the stock Goodyears on the front.

 

I have the stock raw hides on my bike and it steers very easy. Check the alignment it shows how in the owners manual. Your bike could be toed in or out too much causing it to be hard to steer.....

 

I have the Goodyear Trackers on the front. I have a 2002 Sportsman 500 with Rawhides and it steers much better. I think that the 1999 and under have a different front end. I had a 2000 Sportsman with Trackers and the steering was much better.

 

I have found that tire preasure plays into steering as well. Too much air makes it easier to steer, too little makes it a bitch to steer.

Good point, when I got my bike the air preasure was around 2lbs. I did find the bike would pull and steer hard. Now I run 6psi and it steers great....
