my two friends want to drag on a road. my one friend has a stock 450r. the other has a civic with a couple of upgrads like a cat back and aem intake and skunk 2 intake manifoild and its an integra b18(non vtec). it is a pretty quick car though. so there gonna race about a quarter mile on road. who do u think will win?

 

definitely the civic.

 

off the line the 450R might have a chance, but after the 450R tops out the civic will just keep goin.

 

what if the 450 had the hrc kit and a pipe and the race was only 150yds on road would it be closer? and how close would it be between a stock 450r and a 440ex with lots of work

 

the shorter the race the better chance the 450 will have against the civic.

A well built 440ex could easily take a stock 450 or even a piped one for that matter.

 

how realiable would a 400ex with the 440 kit a k&n and pipe be?

 

I bought my 400 ex new in 2001. I did the 440 kit a couple months later and have had no problem what so ever. It is a very reliable bike

 

by any chance have u ever dragged against a yfz or a 450r? how much was the 440 bore kit?

 

even in a shorter race the civic would most likely win cause the 450r will have a tought time keeping the front end on the ground....
