450R will win. Unless HIGHLY modified (im talking $30,000 in mods), a Civic is slow as hell.

I think the 450r will have the civic till about 50 or 55 then the civic will get him on top.

 

the civic will win. but you could always offer to race it on the mx track and see who wins then. a civic with a b18a/b is still not impressive so he shouldnt get big headed. :wink:

Well, my stock 400EX pulled on a stock del sol. (VTEC, but not DOHC VTEC)

A 450R is much faster than a stock 400EX, and the civ. is (I would hope so) much faster than
the del Sol.

The 450 probably isnt that fast on the pavement with its motocross style gearing.
It will wrap out each gear to fast and the civic will be in front by the end of HIS second gear.
(the 450 will be near tapped out, by that time)

The Civic will walk away after this.

 

hah wrong...easily eh?, ive raced and spanked a 440ex with my stock rappy...now how does your theory make sense if EVERYONE says a 450r will take a raptor stock for stock?

 

there are more factors to power than engine size alone. for example, ive beaten 686 raptors and have been beaten by 42X or 43X cc 400ex's when my bike was faster than what i raced the raptor.

 

arent civics like 90 HP stock.
