any tried smaller ports?

has any one tried this on a ds ? this guy and his site have allot of cool info if any one has tried this plz fill me in scrool down more tward the bottom read about smaller porting http://www.mototuneusa.com/think_fast.htm

I tried hi-velocity porting my head as per Motoman specs about 1 1-2 yrs ago. It improved the bottom and mid in the sense that the torque curve became very smooth ( almost looked like it had been doctored and smoothed out- however I didn't see or feel any top end gain and ended up taking it out. just my .02

I got some new Teflon wax for my plastic that is supposed to reduce air friction. Guess I'll have to put a coat on before DS Days.

Helium tires!
Maybe that's why I found my bike upside-down 3-times on my recent Oregon trip [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
I'm going back to regular air in the tires. I need to try to keep the tire side down.

Helium tires would that help i think it might lol its lighter would take off rotaing mass weight sorta lol and make the bike a few lbs lighter lol maby one day i will try it on a dyno to see any one ever thought of that?
