As for exhaust stay away from FMF they dont make a very good 4 stroke exhaust. I would look at WB for a slip on,HPD or HMF for full systems.

The stock air box is a power stealing POS, get ahold of Doug Nicholas have him do a simple carb mod for 50 bucks and run a twin air clamp on.

A 13tooth sprocket really helps low end.

Frenchbros, I think I recall you saying that you were going to be doing enduro/Harescrambles racing with this quad? If so, I would HIGHLY recommend a steering damper. Its got to be the best mod I've bought yet. Really helps with the twitchy feeling that the pred has, and makes it much more stable in the rough stuff. After that I would agree that the triple rate springs is a good idea, and if you can afford it I'd go with the Fox rezzies as well. As for an exhaust, all the ones that TR500 listed are good pipes. FMF has not been very well known for producing good atv exhaust.

I agree with tr500, talk to Doug Nicholas. He will tell you what you need, and definately get his carb mod. Call him up, he is great to work with and talk to. His number is on the site below. Get an aftermarket filter, a pipe(white brothers, HPD, or yoshimera), and the HPD triple rate springs(also on Dougs site....under predator performance)....along with the rezzies are a great ride. That should help.

very true tbsleeper.....frenchbrosracing, pm ken(modquad) and see if he can get you some air scoops, and also ask him about some new antifreeze. He doesn't sell the antifreeze, but knows which is the best. Some new antifreeze(like red line water wetter) helps keep the pred cooler, and keeps the fan off more.

i had an idea.....my friend is an engineer and he produces bumpstops for off-road buggies and trophy trucks. if i placed a bumpstop on my quad as a backup shock which only comes into use once you have used 6 inches of travel. i think it will help prevent bottoming out and also help me go quicker over the whoop-de-doos. will this work?? any comments or constructive criticism is welcome
