When I add in throttle to go forward there is a pause, metallic click and then it seem like full engagement and movement forward. I thought is was a u-joint or slack in the splines. It has that feel, but there are no noises or vibrations once you're moving. I jacked the rear off of the ground and can't find any slack in the u joints or rear end.

I assume it's got to be something in the clutch. I haven't had it apart or any problems before. Any ideas on what it might be or what to look for when I open it up?

It's a 99... No warranty...
